At the following page...

http://wiki.clicktale.com/Article/Integrating_playback_and_customer_backend

It says that we can reach a specific visitor's recording using the following URL...

http://dmz01.app.clicktale.com/Player.aspx?PID=[ClickTaleGetPID]&UID=[ClickTaleGetUID part 1]&SID=[ClickTaleGetSID]

I've retrieved the IDs using the API calls and passed it into the URL but it shows an error page.

If I were to access the the page containing the visitor videos from my dashboard, the URL looks something like this...

http://dmz08.app.clicktale.com/Player.aspx?All&PID=8755&UID=1048213007&STime=60693&SToken=9700033fce877a56320b8561f249feafbb9c9607

I notice that there is a STime and SToken parameter in the URL.

How do I retrieve the STime and SToken values for a particular visitor?

I would like to be able to go to the visitor video page using the visitor ID.

Hello,

The easiest method is to take the UID value from the playback string and search for that user using the Visitor ID filter in the recording search page.

Else, if you already know the UID (=visitor id) you can look it up directly using the same method.

If you encounter a "not found" error, please consider extending the search period to 30 days.

Regards,

Sergei

Thanks for your reply.

What I'm looking for is that with the PID, UID and SID that I have, I'd like to formulate a link that I can paste into my browser's address bar (after I've logged in into my ClickTale account), and be presented with the page containing the videos for the visitor.

It seems that having just the PID and UID is insufficient. I would need the STime and SToken values to generate a workable link.

Is this possible?

What is the link described at "http://wiki.clicktale.com/Article/Integrating_playback_and_customer_backend" used for then?

Thanks!

Hello,
In order to accomplish this, you will need to add the PID, UID & SID of the particular visitor to the URL as mentioned in the article below.

If you have any additional questions regarding this, please go ahead and open a support ticket through your account and we'll be glad to assist you further.
Thanks,
