ClickTale is a very flexible system offering a number of different integration options based on your site architecture, cms, and use.
Here are a few uses that require more than the standard integration to properly record:
- Session based pages – this includes shopping carts, password protected pages, dynamic pages, or any other page where the html changes for different visitors. You will need one of our integration modules such as the Magento, PHP, or ASP.net modules to properly record these pages.
- Blogs – We have custom modules for WordPress, Blogger, and TypePad. Alternatively, you can use one of our integration modules.
- JavaScript site elements – the recording of JavaScript elements (pop-ups, panels, etc.) is not supported by default, you will need to use our API function to properly record these elements.
- POST pages - By default ClickTale doesn't support the caching of HTML content for POST pages. See this post for solutions.
